Now, I have more tricks for you. You know that in Âu Lạc (Vietnam), lots of children play one instrument – “Two spoons.” You will ask me, “Why do the Aulacese (Vietnamese) eat rice with chopsticks?” Right? (Yes.) But when they play the music, always with spoons. So you are going to hear how the Aulacese (Vietnamese) people play the spoons.

Thanks to this technique I also go around the world for the last 30 years. This is dealing with the voice. And this is my healing voice; I can cure people with my voice. If you have an illness, I can look at you and ask you to sing with me, and then I will know what illness you have. So, we call it the “healing voice,” and we call it the “overtone voice.” You can hear from my voice; I will try to divide my voice into two. First, you sing with your normal voice. Suddenly I cut my voice into two, you will hear someone who’s playing the flute to accompany me. And then with this one, you can sing melody. It’s not like that. For example, you know that in Âu Lạc (Vietnam) we have a folk song, very well known. It’s “Cò Lả (Stork Bird).” Etc., etc. Now I try to sing with this overtone. You are going to hear the melody.

Now, I would like to present to you my other half, the pop and folk singer, Bạch Yến.

Ladies and gentlemen, I’m very pleased to present to you a song written by a very, very old friend. He’s a famous Aulacese (Vietnamese) composer. This song was written specially for me, not only in Aulacese (Vietnamese) words, lyrics, but also in French. And the name of the song, “C’est Toi” – “It’s You.”
